Meeting around our polished wooden table on the second floor, you'll find the Hawthorn Room provides exactly what small groups need for focused discussions. We've configured this 25-square-metre space to seat 12 comfortably in boardroom style, though we can accommodate 14 for presentation-style sessions when needed. The room's real strength lies in its 75-inch interactive ActivPanel, which transforms ordinary meetings into dynamic working sessions. Teams regularly use the interactive whiteboard features for brainstorming, while the video conferencing capabilities mean remote colleagues join seamlessly. We've watched project teams sketch out ideas directly on screen, share documents instantly, and connect with international partners, all through this single piece of technology. Every detail supports productive work. Each place at the table comes prepared with notepads, pens, and water, so participants can focus on the discussion rather than hunting for supplies. The lift access from ground level means everyone reaches the room easily, regardless of mobility needs. While the space doesn't have windows, our carefully planned lighting keeps energy levels high throughout day-long sessions. The Hawthorn Room sits adjacent to our larger Chestnut Suite, which proves particularly useful for events needing both plenary and breakout spaces. Some clients book both rooms, using Hawthorn for board discussions while the main group continues next door.
