When companies book our second-floor Glyndebourne Suite, they're often drawn by the combination of professional facilities and the proximity to Brighton's energising seafront. Just knowing the beach is moments away seems to sharpen focus during morning sessions, with many groups taking advantage of quick walks along the promenade during breaks. The suite itself accommodates various configurations, from boardroom discussions for 54 to theatre-style presentations for up to 90 delegates. We've hosted everything from intensive training workshops to quarterly board meetings here, with the flexible layout adapting to each group's specific needs. The patterned carpet and blue-cushioned seating create a professional atmosphere that feels less corporate, more collaborative, while crisp white table linens maintain the business-ready appearance many of our clients require. While the room doesn't have windows, our carefully designed lighting system keeps energy levels high throughout day-long sessions. The LCD projector, flip charts and lectern come as standard, though most groups appreciate that our events team, particularly Fran who many regulars request by name, will source any additional equipment needed, often before you've realised you need it. Being on the second floor provides a quiet environment away from the lobby bustle, yet you're still just a quick lift ride from grabbing a Starbucks during comfort breaks. Our catering team delivers working lunches directly to the suite, minimising disruption to tight agendas. The high-speed Wi-Fi generally performs well, though as with many coastal locations, we occasionally experience minor fluctuations. After sessions wrap up, delegates often mention how refreshing it is to step outside and clear their heads with sea air, something you simply don't get with city-centre venues. The combination of solid meeting facilities and that unique seaside setting makes the Glyndebourne particularly popular for strategic planning sessions and team workshops.
