The Study offers exactly what its name suggests: a thoughtful space where important conversations happen naturally. Step into this intimate room and you'll find yourself surrounded by original wood panelling that has witnessed over a century of discussions, its warm tones complementing the soft green walls that create a calming backdrop for your meeting. We've arranged The Study to accommodate your specific needs, whether that's eight colleagues around our boardroom table, fifteen attendees in theatre style, or a U-shaped configuration for eight when you need everyone to see each other clearly. The substantial table, dressed in rich green cloth, sits at the heart of the room, surrounded by comfortable chairs that encourage people to settle in for productive sessions. The original fireplace, topped with carefully chosen artwork, adds character without distraction. When presentations are on the agenda, our projector screen pulls down smoothly, and there's always a flip chart ready for those spontaneous brainstorming moments. The tall windows flood the space with natural light, keeping energy levels high throughout your meeting, though we can easily create complete darkness when you need to focus on screen presentations. What makes The Study particularly effective is its sense of enclosure. Unlike larger spaces that can feel overwhelming for small groups, this room creates an atmosphere where every voice matters. The wood panelling seems to absorb outside distractions, allowing your team to concentrate fully on the task at hand. Located in our Alloa venue, just seven miles from Stirling, reaching us is straightforward via regular train and bus services. We provide complimentary parking for those who drive, and when you need a break, the Ochil Hills visible from our grounds offer the perfect excuse for a refreshing walk between sessions.
