The Great Hall When the oak-paneled walls catch the afternoon light streaming through our tall windows, you understand why so many organisations choose this space for their most important gatherings. Our Great Hall accommodates 250 delegates theatre-style, with those high vaulted ceilings creating natural acoustics that carry every word clearly to the back row. The room's versatility shows in how we configure it throughout the week. Monday might see rows of chairs facing our built-in projector screen for a medical symposium, while Tuesday brings round tables for 75 in classroom formation as teams work through strategic planning sessions. The grand piano in the corner occasionally provides background music during networking breaks, though most groups prefer to use our PA system and wireless microphones for presentations. Those deep red curtains aren't just decorative, they help control the natural light for screen presentations while the chandeliers provide adjustable lighting options as your day progresses. The wooden floors have witnessed decades of academic discourse, and the portraits lining our walls remind participants they're meeting where international scholars have gathered since the 1930s.
