Our meeting room sits just off the main bar area, where canal boats glide past the windows throughout the day. We've positioned the round table to catch the best of the natural light that pours in, and those same windows frame the greenery along the Kennet & Avon Canal, giving your meetings a backdrop that beats any office wall. The room works well for groups up to 12 people, whether you arrange chairs around our central table for collaborative sessions or set them theatre-style for presentations. We find most groups prefer the boardroom setup for 10, though we can configure classroom style for 8 when training sessions need that extra desk space. The TV mounted on the wall connects easily to laptops, and we keep a whiteboard ready for those moments when ideas need mapping out properly. What catches people off guard is the small terrace attached to the room. Step outside during breaks and you're right above the canal path, close enough to hear the water lapping against the boats below. It's become a favourite spot for clearing heads between agenda items or continuing conversations that need a change of scene. Past bookings tell us the space suits everything from morning strategy sessions to afternoon interviews. One recruiter mentioned how candidates visibly relaxed when they saw the canal views, while a local business uses us monthly for their team catch-ups, saying the walk from Bath station helps everyone arrive in the right headspace. The main bar stays open throughout your booking, so coffee and refreshments are always available, and our Wi-Fi reaches every corner. Ground floor access means no wrestling with stairs, and the accessible facilities are just along the corridor. Most groups find street parking on the hill, though walking from the station takes just 10 minutes if you prefer to leave the car behind.

An excellent place in which to hold a meeting with friendly staff. Perhaps the only drawback is parking but we were all lucky to find places on the road; next time I will consider using the train
