The Bronte Room combines Victorian heritage with everything you need for productive meetings in Manchester's literary quarter. We've positioned this first-floor space to capture abundant natural light through large windows overlooking our award-winning garden, creating an atmosphere that keeps delegates engaged throughout the day. Charlotte Bronte, who was Elizabeth Gaskell's close friend, lends her name to this versatile room where period features meet modern functionality. Our vibrant pink seating adds warmth to the space while maintaining professional comfort, and the large central table provides generous workspace for materials, laptops, and refreshments. Historical displays around the room offer natural conversation starters during breaks. We can configure the room to suit your needs - theatre style accommodates 30 delegates for presentations, while boardroom and classroom layouts seat 16 comfortably. For more interactive sessions, our cabaret arrangement works well for 15 participants. The deluxe screen and reliable Wi-Fi support seamless presentations, and we provide flip charts for brainstorming sessions. Access couldn't be simpler with our lift serving the first floor, ensuring all attendees can join comfortably. We keep complimentary tea, coffee, and water flowing throughout your booking, and you're welcome to arrange external catering to suit your group's preferences. The garden views provide a refreshing backdrop during intensive discussions, and many groups use our outdoor space for informal networking during breaks. Our central Manchester location means excellent transport links surround us, making arrival straightforward for all attendees. The room is available Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, either standalone or combined with our Darwin and Nightingale rooms for larger events requiring breakout spaces. Our events team works closely with you to ensure your meeting runs exactly as planned.
