The wooden table in Meeting Room 6 catches the morning light beautifully through those generous windows, creating an atmosphere that makes even budget discussions feel less daunting. We've designed this 175-square-foot space for groups who need to really focus - six people around our boardroom table is the sweet spot, though we've hosted everything from strategic planning sessions to creative workshops here. Natural light floods the room throughout the day, with views over the city providing just enough visual interest without becoming a distraction. The soft, muted wall tones and carefully chosen artwork create a calm environment that our regular bookers tell us helps them think more clearly. Those pendant lights overhead? They're on dimmers, so you can adjust the mood depending on whether you're presenting quarterly figures or brainstorming your next campaign. Tech-wise, everything's ready to go. The wall-mounted screen connects easily to laptops, the conference phone handles international calls without that annoying echo, and the whiteboard has saved more than one meeting when someone needs to sketch out an idea. We keep spare markers and erasers in the drawer because we know how these things disappear. Being right at platforms 23 and 24 means your team can literally step off their trains and into the meeting - we're at Exit 5 if you're navigating Waterloo for the first time. The Japanese-inspired design throughout our venue creates a surprisingly peaceful environment despite the station location. After your session, Lower Marsh Market is just outside for a working lunch, or you might catch a matinee at The Old Vic if you wrap up early. Our reception team knows all the best coffee spots nearby and they're always happy to share their recommendations.
