Our first-floor Catey Suite gets particularly busy during conference season, when companies book it for their breakout sessions and training workshops. The room's 98-inch interactive screen has become something of a talking point, especially when teams connect with colleagues in New York or Singapore and everyone can actually see facial expressions clearly on the massive display. We've arranged the Catey in a U-shape configuration that seats up to 18 people comfortably, though we can reconfigure it for classroom-style training (12 seats) or theatre presentations (25 seats). The blue upholstered chairs were chosen specifically for all-day comfort, something our regular clients appreciate during those intensive strategy sessions. Natural light pours in through the large windows overlooking the street, keeping everyone alert without the harsh glare of overhead fluorescents. The built-in video conferencing system includes camera, speaker and microphone already positioned for optimal coverage, so there's no fiddling with equipment when your meeting starts. Our IT team installed ClickShare last year after several requests, making wireless presentation sharing straightforward even for less tech-savvy presenters. The high-speed WiFi handles multiple devices without dropping connections, tested regularly by our tech company clients who run live demos. Russell Square station is genuinely just two minutes away on foot, which helps when you're coordinating multiple attendees across London. We're equally close to King's Cross and St Pancras, making international connections simple for overseas participants. The wooden tables provide plenty of space for laptops and materials, while the patterned carpet helps dampen sound for clearer audio during calls. Previous guests have mentioned how smooth their sessions ran here, particularly appreciating our staff support and the reliable setup that let them focus on their content rather than technical issues.
