Eight comfortable blue chairs surround our solid boardroom table, where countless important decisions have been made since this Grade II* listed building first opened its doors over 175 years ago. Rich wooden paneling lines the walls, while built-in bookshelves hold volumes that speak to our medical and academic heritage. The room's original fireplace remains a striking focal point, complemented by an engraved dedication that reminds visitors of the distinguished history within these walls. We've carefully preserved these period features while ensuring modern functionality for today's meetings. Natural light streams through the windows, creating an atmosphere that keeps discussions energised throughout the day. Fresh potted plants add life to the professional setting, softening the formality without diminishing the room's gravitas.
