We've found this intimate space works brilliantly for those meetings where every voice needs to be heard, with just eight seats around the boardroom table ensuring no one gets lost in the crowd. The room sits on the ground floor of our Harcourt Conference Centre, making it wonderfully accessible without any stairs to navigate. We've kept the technology simple but effective, with Wi-Fi that actually works, a projector for presentations, and a flipchart for those spontaneous brainstorming moments. The chandelier overhead adds a touch of formality without making the space feel stuffy, while the warm red tones keep the atmosphere relaxed and conducive to conversation. What makes this room particularly versatile is how it connects directly with the Simon Suite next door. Teams often start with a focused board meeting here, then open up the adjoining space for breakout sessions or a working lunch. The natural daylight really does make a difference during those long strategy sessions, and being able to glimpse the countryside between agenda items helps clear the mind. Our in-house catering team handles refreshments, from morning coffee and pastries to proper working lunches. They know how to time service around your schedule, slipping in quietly during natural breaks. The location works well too, with Tring station just minutes away for those coming from London or further afield. We've hosted everything from executive board meetings to creative workshops in here.
