The Cathedral Suite sits on our first floor, where morning light streams through windows that frame St Philip's Cathedral perfectly. We've watched countless board meetings unfold here, with executives pausing mid-presentation to appreciate those cathedral views – they really do add something special to strategic discussions. This 64-square-meter space works brilliantly for groups up to 20 people. We typically arrange it boardroom-style for our corporate clients, though the flexible layout adapts easily to theatre, dining, or cabaret configurations depending on what you need. The room strikes that balance between preserving original features and providing everything modern meetings require. Our AV setup includes a large presentation screen positioned where everyone can see clearly, and we've made sure the technology integrates smoothly without overwhelming the space. The contemporary furnishings were chosen specifically to complement the period details – soft lighting from wall sconces creates just the right atmosphere for productive discussions, while the carpeting helps with acoustics during those longer sessions. Being on the first floor means you're away from street noise but still easily accessible. We're right in Birmingham's center, about ten minutes' walk from the train station, which our regular clients find convenient for bringing in team members from different offices. There's good parking nearby too. The Cathedral Suite forms part of our collection of ten meeting spaces throughout this restored Grade II* listed building. Our events team handles all the technical details, from initial setup through to your final presentation, ensuring everything runs smoothly. Complimentary Wi-Fi comes standard, and our on-site dining options mean working lunches or post-meeting dinners are easily arranged without leaving the building.
