Our Gray Room brings together the best of both worlds, where original wood panelling meets modern meeting needs. Step inside and you'll find yourself surrounded by centuries-old stone walls that once echoed with quite different gatherings, now hosting boardroom discussions for up to 12 people around our substantial table. We've kept the historical character intact while ensuring everything works for today's meetings. The Logitech Conference Camera sits ready for video calls, complemented by our reliable Wi-Fi, whiteboard, flipchart and presentation screen. Those vibrant pink chairs might surprise you at first, but they've become quite the talking point, adding unexpected energy to the room's traditional setting. The carved stone dedication on the wall serves as a reminder of this space's previous life as part of St Mungo's Church, creating conversations that often break the ice before meetings begin. While we don't have windows in here, the warm lighting creates a focused atmosphere that many of our clients prefer for confidential discussions or intensive strategy sessions. For larger gatherings, we can arrange the space for up to 20 people reception-style, perfect for networking events or informal presentations. You're welcome to bring in your own caterers, which gives you complete control over refreshments, from working lunches to evening receptions. Getting here is straightforward with plenty of parking both on-site and on nearby streets. We're just outside Edinburgh's city centre, easily reached by public transport. Previous guests have mentioned our excellent service and comfortable setting, though we do recommend sharing specific directions to the Gray Room with your attendees beforehand, as the building layout can be a little confusing on first visit. Every booking here supports local community projects, adding purpose to your productive day.
