The Burlington Room combines proper Victorian grandeur with everything you need for productive meetings. That original chandelier catches everyone's eye when they first walk in, while the high ceilings and ornate cornices create an atmosphere that feels both impressive and surprisingly intimate. We've configured this space to work brilliantly for different group sizes. The boardroom setup seats 16 comfortably around our substantial table, perfect for those strategic planning sessions where everyone needs to see each other. Switch to theatre style and we can accommodate 40 delegates, or arrange a U-shape for 16 when you need that workshop feel. The chairs are genuinely comfortable, even for those all-day sessions that run past 5pm. Our AV setup includes everything modern meetings demand, from crisp projection to reliable high-speed Wi-Fi that actually handles everyone's devices at once. The room's thoughtful lighting design compensates for the lack of windows, keeping energy levels up throughout the day. Those period features, the mirror and artwork on the walls, add character without creating distractions. Being right opposite Exeter Central station means your delegates step off the train and walk straight to us. During breaks, Northernhay Gardens provides a proper green space just next door, ideal for clearing heads between sessions.
