The Lainston room sits tucked away on our upper floor, where the distinctive sloped ceiling creates an atmosphere that feels more private study than corporate boardroom. We've arranged this space around a polished boardroom table that comfortably seats 12, with high-backed ergonomic chairs that keep everyone comfortable through those marathon strategy sessions. Red carpeting runs throughout the room, working with the patterned curtains to create warmth without distraction. Natural light streams through the windows, offering glimpses of Surrey's countryside, though the curtains draw fully when you need complete focus. We've mounted a large flat-screen TV on the wall for presentations, making it simple to share documents, spreadsheets, or whatever drives your discussion forward. Our venue understands that productive meetings need the right environment. The Lainston's position on the upper floor means you're naturally removed from the main hotel activity, creating that bubble of concentration successful boardroom sessions require. The unique ceiling architecture actually helps with acoustics, keeping conversations contained within these walls. Getting here couldn't be more straightforward. The A30 and M3 put us within easy reach, and we've got plenty of free parking for your team. Some groups arrive the evening before to settle in, others make the journey morning-of, both work perfectly. Our kitchen can arrange working lunches delivered directly to the room, or you might prefer breaking for a proper meal downstairs. The Lainston works particularly well for board meetings, senior leadership sessions, confidential discussions, or any gathering where twelve people need to get down to business without interruption.
