The Council Room greets you with towering oak panels that have watched over Westminster gatherings for more than a century. We've preserved every detail of this ground-floor space, from the ornate plasterwork overhead to the portraits gazing down from their gilded frames. That magnificent chandelier you'll notice immediately? It's original, casting the same warm light over today's board meetings as it did over Edwardian councils. West-facing windows stretch nearly floor to ceiling, bringing Westminster's changing light into the room throughout your day. The deep reds and greens in our curtains and carpets were chosen to complement the dark wood, creating an atmosphere that feels both grand and welcoming. We find groups appreciate how the space manages to feel intimate despite accommodating up to 100 people. Our venue's flexibility shows in the numbers: 48 for boardroom style when you need everyone around one table, 56 in cabaret formation for workshops, or the full 100 in theatre layout for presentations. U-shaped arrangements work beautifully for 40, while banquet seating fits 80 comfortably. We've equipped everything with proper AV capabilities and superfast WiFi that handles everyone's devices without complaint. Being right at Westminster Station means your attendees can walk here in minutes, whether they're coming from government offices or arriving via the Jubilee, District, or Circle lines.
