We've hosted everything from boardroom discussions for 25 to theatre-style presentations for 60 people in this space. The dark wood shelves aren't just decorative, they're packed with volumes that spark conversations during coffee breaks. That fireplace you'll spot, flanked by wooden benches, becomes a natural gathering point where delegates often continue their discussions long after formal sessions end. Our venue sits just minutes from Holborn Underground Station, making arrival straightforward for your attendees. The Library particularly suits symposiums and corporate gatherings where you want something beyond a standard meeting room. We can arrange cabaret seating for 35 when you need tables for workshops, or classroom style for 30 when note-taking is essential. U-shaped configurations work brilliantly here too, accommodating 25 participants who need clear sightlines to each other. Film crews occasionally borrow our Library as a backdrop, drawn by the authentic character that no set designer could replicate. We provide complimentary tea, coffee and water throughout your booking, and our catering team offers extensive vegan and gluten-free options when you need refreshments. Please note that as a Grade II listed building, we don't have lift access to this first-floor room.
