Running a community centre since 1898 means we've seen Clerkenwell transform around us, but The Peel Centre remains a constant fixture for local residents and businesses. Our building on Northampton Road sits just a short walk from both Farringdon and Angel stations, making it easy for office workers to pop in during lunch or after work. We've recently expanded our office offerings to include a private workspace with 15 desks, perfect for small teams who want their own dedicated area. For those preferring a more flexible arrangement, we have fixed desks in our coworking space where you'll share the area with other professionals. Both options give you access to our meeting rooms, which work brilliantly for client presentations or team catch-ups. The centre buzzes with activity throughout the day - you might hear a Pilates class in our dance studio while you're working, or catch the sound of a five-a-side match on our 3G pitch during your coffee break. This mix of business and community creates an atmosphere you won't find in a traditional office block. Our hall regularly hosts workshops and training sessions, and we've noticed many of our office tenants appreciate being able to book these spaces for their own corporate events. What makes us different is the community connection. We run employment and training support services, so there's always potential for partnerships or volunteering opportunities. The day centre for older residents adds another dimension - some of our office users have mentioned they enjoy the intergenerational aspect of the building.
