Flip-flops on the wall and cabinets transformed into desks—that's how we built Metre Squared Arts Hub on the Isle of Dogs. Every corner tells a story of creative reuse, from salvaged wood panels that became our partition walls to repurposed materials that now house London's emerging artists. We've crafted this West Kensington space into multiple zones that shift with your needs. Our large rehearsal areas stretch across open floors where theatre companies run through productions and dancers perfect their movements. The photography rooms feature adjustable lighting rigs that photographers love for portrait sessions and product shoots. When bands need a place to perform, our live performance lounges come alive with sound, complete with our fully licensed bar serving drinks to audiences of up to 100. The office spaces work differently here—hot-deskers set up among hanging plants and dimmable lights, while our modular furniture rolls aside when someone needs the full floor for a workshop. We keep everything accessible with ramps and wide doorways throughout the building. That chaise longue in the corner? Artists use it for life drawing classes one day, then it becomes seating for poetry readings the next. Creative workshops happen weekly, from screen printing to sculpture. Exhibitions transform our walls monthly, showcasing everything from photography to mixed media installations. We share every artist's work across our social media and website because building a creative network matters as much as providing the physical space.
