Fifth floor above Oxford Circus, we've created something special at Aqua Nueva. Our Spanish restaurant sits high above the bustle of Argyll Street, where floor-to-ceiling windows frame views across London's rooftops while guests share plates of jamón ibérico and sip cava at our dedicated bar. The rooftop terrace has become our signature feature - on sunny afternoons, you'll find groups gathered around tables with pitchers of sangria, taking in the panoramic cityscape. When the weather turns, our indoor dining room maintains that same energy with its open layout and contemporary design that lets natural light flood the space throughout the day. We built our menu around the Spanish tradition of sharing. Small plates arrive as they're ready - patatas bravas still sizzling, fresh oysters on ice, grilled octopus with smoky paprika. For those wanting heartier portions, our à la carte selection includes paellas that take 45 minutes to prepare properly and whole sea bass baked in salt crust that we crack open tableside. Our spaces adapt to different occasions naturally. The main dining area handles everything from business lunches to birthday dinners for 20. We've hosted product launches on the terrace, wedding receptions that spill between indoor and outdoor spaces, and corporate groups who book out sections for presentations followed by tapas and wine. The cava bar becomes its own social hub, especially Thursday and Friday evenings when local professionals stop by after work. Being directly connected to Oxford Circus station means guests reach us easily, though many tell us they forget they're in central London once they step out onto our terrace. We're open seven days, with kitchen service running late enough to catch post-theatre diners looking for somewhere atmospheric to end their evening.
