Our Queen Anne mansion sits proudly on a hilltop surrounded by 26 acres of gardens and woodlands in the Surrey Hills near Guildford. Here at Barnett Hill Hotel, we've carefully preserved the character of this historic property while creating versatile spaces perfect for both corporate meetings and weddings. Throughout our 56 individually styled rooms and suites, you'll find contemporary touches complementing the original features. We've spread accommodations across the Mansion House, Courtyard, and Gardener's Cottage, and yes, we welcome well-behaved pets in selected rooms. The Oak Room Restaurant, with its original oak paneling and grand fireplace, has earned 2 AA Rosettes for our seasonal British menu. After dinner, guests often retreat to the 1905 Bar where we showcase local gins alongside classic cocktails. For business meetings, we offer nine boardrooms equipped with wall-mounted screens. The Drawing Room stands out with its floor-to-ceiling bay window flooding the space with natural light, complemented by dark wood paneling and intricate friezes. We can arrange traditional boardroom setups or clear the furniture for creative workshops and brainstorming sessions. Wedding couples particularly love taking over the entire manor. With exclusive use comes access to all 56 bedrooms, solving the accommodation puzzle for your guests. Our grounds provide endless backdrops for photographs - from formal gardens to woodland paths. Whether you prefer working with our wedding planning team on a package or creating something entirely bespoke, we accommodate both approaches. The Surrey Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty starts right at our doorstep. Guests regularly explore the walking and cycling routes before returning for afternoon tea on the terrace or in our lounges. Being this close to Guildford means easy access while maintaining the peaceful atmosphere our hilltop location provides.
