Our meeting space at BEST WESTERN The Stuart Hotel sits just off the main lobby, where the bustle of Derby's business district fades into focused productivity. We've recently renovated this room to accommodate up to 20 delegates, and the natural light from the street-facing windows keeps everyone alert during those longer sessions. The space works particularly well for training workshops and board meetings. We've equipped it with everything you need - a projector for presentations, flipcharts for brainstorming, and high-speed Wi-Fi that actually works when all 20 laptops are connected. The layout is flexible too; we can arrange tables in boardroom style, U-shape, or classroom format depending on what works best for your group. Being on London Road means your attendees can walk from Derby Train Station in about 5 minutes - they literally turn left out of the station and follow the main road straight to us. For those driving, we have on-site parking, though it fills up during peak times so we always suggest arriving early or checking availability when you book. What makes our meeting room particularly practical is its proximity to our XS Restaurant and Liquid Bar. Coffee breaks happen right outside the meeting room door, and we serve proper barista coffee, not just the standard conference blend. Lunch can be a quick working meal in the restaurant or, if you prefer, we can arrange catering directly to the room. Our 24-hour front desk means early morning setups or evening sessions aren't a problem. We're used to accommodating different schedules - whether that's a 7am breakfast meeting or training that runs until 8pm. The executive double rooms upstairs provide a quiet retreat if any delegates need to stay overnight, complete with those little touches like decent tea bags and reliable shower pressure that make business travel less tedious.
