Our converted warehouse on Wadeson Street has become something of a Bethnal Green institution since we opened Bistrotheque. The whitewashed walls and exposed industrial features create the perfect backdrop for celebrations—we've hosted everything from milestone birthdays to corporate gatherings in this space. The main dining room transforms beautifully for private parties, with its minimalist design letting your event take center stage. We can accommodate up to 96 seated guests here, and our team regularly reconfigures the space depending on what you need—whether that's long banquet tables for a wedding dinner or a more fluid layout for cocktail receptions. Our seasonal French and English menu works brilliantly for events too; guests particularly love sharing plates of our steak tartare and brown butter monkfish. Weekend brunches bring their own energy with our resident pianist setting the mood—many groups book tables for celebrations during these sessions. The combination of live music and flowing drinks creates exactly the right atmosphere for relaxed daytime parties. Downstairs, The Cockatoo adds another dimension entirely. This dinner theatre space lets you combine dining with cabaret performances, drag shows, and live entertainment. We've seen groups book the whole space for truly memorable birthday parties where guests enjoy our full menu while watching exclusive performances. The industrial architecture means we have flexibility most traditional venues can't match. Those high ceilings and open spaces work equally well for standing receptions as they do for seated dinners.
