We built Black Box Studio on Gorst Road to give creative professionals the flexibility they need. Our 1,800 sq ft space transforms from a controlled photography environment to a dynamic event venue, depending on what you're creating that day. The main studio spans 11.5 x 12 meters with fully black walls that wrap 360 degrees around you. When you need complete darkness, we pull the serge wool drapes across the warehouse windows. Open them up, and natural light floods in through those same windows - it's remarkable how the space changes character completely. We've watched fashion photographers work with the morning light streaming in, then seen the same space host an intimate performance that evening under our pre-installed lighting rig. That lighting setup includes 4 Fresnels, 4 RGB Hex LEDs, and 2 spotlights, all running through DMX control at your fingertips. The Harlequin reversible vinyl dance flooring means performers feel comfortable whether they're rehearsing or filming. We've added plenty of power outlets throughout, including 32amp and 16amp connections for heavy-duty equipment. Behind the main space, you'll find our kitchenette where crews can prep meals with the fridge-freezer, microwave, and portable hobs. The makeup area features a proper Hollywood-style mirror - we've seen it handle everything from quick touch-ups to full theatrical transformations. There's a clothing rail with hangers, plus a steamer and iron for last-minute wardrobe adjustments. The fibre wifi keeps everyone connected, and our Bluetooth speaker fills the space when you need atmosphere. We provide one free parking space right outside, with plenty of street parking along Gorst Road for additional vehicles. Located in Park Royal's creative quarter, we're surrounded by other studios and production facilities, making Black Box Studio a natural choice for performances, set builds, and creative events.
