The smoke from our imported hardwood-burning smokers used to drift through Bluegrass BBQ Smokehouse in Windsor, where we spent years perfecting the art of authentic American barbecue. Our kitchen team would arrive early each morning to tend the brisket, pulled pork, and ribs that made us a local favorite for both quick lunches and long family dinners. Our restaurant offered several distinct dining experiences. The main dining room provided a relaxed, casual space where the aroma of slow-smoked meats filled the air. For those planning celebrations or business gatherings, we maintained secret speakeasy rooms that accommodated private groups of 8 or more guests. These exclusive areas gave parties their own space while still enjoying the full barbecue experience. The menu showcased our award-winning recipes, with the Ultimate Pit Boss Burger and Buttermilk Chicken & Waffles standing out as customer favorites. We designed set menus specifically for group bookings, making party planning straightforward, and kept dedicated kids' menus to ensure younger diners found something they loved. Our full bar complemented the smoky flavors with American beers and classic cocktails. Beyond the dining room, we offered comprehensive services including takeaway for those craving barbecue at home and delivery throughout Windsor. Free Wi-Fi made us a popular spot for working lunches, while our flexible space worked equally well for birthday parties, corporate events, and casual family gatherings. Unfortunately, as of January 2025, Bluegrass BBQ Smokehouse has permanently closed our Windsor location. We appreciated every guest who walked through our doors and shared in our passion for authentic American barbecue. The memories of packed dining rooms, satisfied customers, and the constant hum of our smokers will always remain part of Windsor's culinary history.
