The marble counter that separates our open kitchen from the dining room is where the magic happens at Buns & Buns in Covent Garden Piazza. We built it low on purpose so you can chat with our chefs while they fold gyoza and steam bao buns right in front of you. It's become one of our signature features, along with the curved cocktail bar that wraps around the corner, creating the perfect flow for mingling at parties. Our glass walls frame the constant theater of Covent Garden while copper fixtures and living plants bring warmth to the space. We've designed every corner with celebrations in mind - from intimate birthday gatherings at our regular tables to full-scale corporate parties that take over the entire restaurant. The open layout means your guests can move freely between the bar area and dining spaces, making networking events and cocktail receptions feel natural rather than forced. We can accommodate up to 125 guests seated or 158 for standing receptions. Our menu travels well for party formats too - the steamed bao buns filled with bourbon pork belly or shiitake mushrooms work perfectly as passed appetizers, while our spicy salmon on crispy rice and wagyu beef gyoza become conversation starters. The lobster noodles and chicken satay round out the Asian-inspired offerings that keep drawing people back. Our bartenders craft cocktails using fresh seasonal juices and craft spirits.
