À propos de Cecilia's Wine House
Crack open a bottle of Bordeaux and settle into our corner of Drury Lane—we're Cecilia's Wine House, where wine isn't just poured, it's properly celebrated. Our space on 42 Drury Lane in Covent Garden has become the go-to spot for everything from spontaneous after-work drinks to full-blown wedding celebrations. We've curated a wine list that makes sommeliers smile—think classic Bordeaux and Burgundies sitting alongside adventurous new-world bottles we've discovered on our travels. Starting at £6.50 a glass, you can sample your way through our collection or commit to a bottle (and yes, we'll wrap it up if you want to take one home). Our sharing platters pair perfectly with whatever you're drinking—artisanal French and Italian cheeses, carefully selected charcuterie, and seasonal dishes like our Burratina, which is basically summer on toast with burrata and seasoned tomatoes. The space itself fits up to 100 guests when you take over the whole venue, making it just right for Christmas parties, corporate events, or wedding celebrations. We've hosted everything from theatre crowds grabbing pre-show drinks to companies booking out the entire space for their annual bash. The layout works whether you're planning stand-up drinks and mingling or want everyone seated around our tables. We're open Monday through Wednesday from noon until 10:30pm, staying open later Thursday to Saturday until 12:30am when the Covent Garden buzz really kicks in. Sundays we wrap up at 9pm, giving everyone a civilized end to the weekend. Whether you need the whole venue or just want to reserve a section for your group, we'll work with you to create exactly the kind of wine-fueled gathering you have in mind.
