The wood-paneled walls of our Garden Room have witnessed countless successful meetings and conferences over the years here at Colchester Officers' Club. We've created a space that balances professional functionality with the warmth of a traditional members' club, tucked away from the bustle yet minutes from Colchester Town Station. Our Garden Room comfortably seats 60 delegates in various configurations - theatre style for presentations, boardroom for strategic discussions, or cabaret for workshops. When you need more space, we can open up into our adjoining Restaurant, and for major conferences, our entire ground floor transforms to accommodate 150 attendees. The natural light streaming through period windows keeps everyone alert during long sessions, while our thick walls ensure complete privacy for sensitive discussions. What sets us apart for meetings is our in-house kitchen team. Rather than generic sandwich platters, we prepare proper meals - think hot carved meats for lunch buffets or fresh barbecues on our terrace during summer sessions. Morning pastries arrive warm from our ovens, and our barista-style coffee keeps energy levels high throughout the day. Between sessions, delegates often stretch their legs on our grounds or even book our tennis courts for team-building - we have six all-weather courts, three with floodlights for evening play. Our Terrace Lounge provides a comfortable spot for informal networking over coffee or post-meeting drinks. We're fully licensed for civil ceremonies too, so we occasionally transform from boardroom to wedding venue, but our core strength remains business meetings. Our team handles everything from AV setup to dietary requirements, while our ample parking means your attendees won't circle the streets looking for spaces. We've refined our meeting services through decades of hosting corporate events, always maintaining the discretion and professionalism our members expect.
