French wine flows through the heart of our Neal's Yard hideaway, where we've created something special in Covent Garden. At Compagnie des Vins Surnaturels, our two-floor space feels like you've stepped into a friend's Parisian apartment – all patterned textiles, comfortable armchairs, and that particular warmth that comes from rooms designed for conversation over good wine. We've gathered over 400 bottles here, focusing on French wines from smaller producers you won't find elsewhere. Our sommeliers love nothing more than matching the perfect glass to your event, whether that's a Burgundy from a tiny vineyard or something unexpected from the Loire. The terrace catches the afternoon light beautifully, while our first floor offers its own private world for groups wanting their own space. Our kitchen works closely with the wine list – everything designed to bring out the best in both food and drink. We serve proper French fare: boards of artisanal charcuterie and cheese that we source carefully, our beef tartare prepared the traditional way, and what regulars call our 'Posh Madame' with truffle ham and quail egg. The sheep's milk ravioli and crispy pork Milanese add Italian touches that somehow feel perfectly at home here. For private events, we can accommodate 25 guests on the first floor alone, or open up the entire venue for groups up to 50. Product launches work particularly well in our space – the wine creates natural conversation starters – while milestone celebrations benefit from the intimate atmosphere we've cultivated. Birthday parties, engagement celebrations, and company gatherings all find their rhythm here, with our team ensuring the wine keeps flowing and the plates keep coming.
