We've hosted thousands of creative minds in our basement space at D&AD on Cheshire Street, where Shoreditch's energy meets professional functionality. Our 140-person capacity venue transforms from corporate conferences during the day to buzzing award ceremonies and team celebrations by night, with music flowing through our PA system until 10pm. The space works brilliantly for different setups - we regularly arrange 40 theatre-style seats for presentations, then clear the floor for networking drinks afterwards. Our in-house AV setup includes everything you need: projector, flatscreen TV, and full sound system, all controlled from a simple panel. The air conditioning keeps everyone comfortable whether you're running intensive workshops or packed evening events. Our basement has its own character - exposed elements mixed with modern touches that reflect the creative industries we serve. The separate toilets mean no queuing upstairs, and our kitchenette with fridges handles drink storage for your events. We're fully wheelchair accessible via our lift, with level access throughout. While we don't allow external catering, our approved caterers know the space inside out and deliver everything from working lunches to cocktail reception canapés. They'll work directly with you on menus while we handle the logistics. Our mandatory security and cleaning teams are familiar faces here - they're arranged through our preferred providers and ensure everything runs smoothly. From team-building sessions that use every corner of the space to formal award presentations under our lighting rig, we've seen how versatile these four walls can be.
