Four massive copper tanks dominate our bar at Draft House Chancery, each holding 500 litres of fresh, unpasteurised Pilsner Urquell that arrives weekly from the Czech Republic. We're tucked away at 1 Plough Place in London's legal district, where barristers and bankers rub shoulders with craft beer enthusiasts over pints and American-inspired pub grub. Our Tank Room is where the real magic happens for private parties. We'll teach you and your guests the art of pouring Pilsner Urquell in three traditional Czech styles—Milk, Smooth, and Crisp—with our Czech-trained tapsters guiding you through each technique. It's become our signature experience, turning birthday celebrations, stag dos, and corporate gatherings into something genuinely memorable. Beyond the tanks, we stock an extensive range of craft beers that changes regularly. Our kitchen serves up proper American comfort food—think loaded burgers, hot dogs, wings, and tacos that pair perfectly with our beer selection. Every Tuesday at 6pm, our pub quiz takes over the main bar, with teams competing for £50 bar tabs and rounds of drinks. We're right between Chancery Lane and Farringdon stations, making us an easy meeting point for groups coming from different parts of London. During the week, we close at 11pm Monday through Wednesday, staying open until midnight on Thursdays and Fridays to accommodate after-work gatherings and late-night celebrations. Our team knows how to handle everything from intimate birthday drinks to full venue takeovers.
