Cricket match days bring a special energy to The Fentiman Arms, where we catch the distant cheers from the Oval while serving up proper British food in our cozy pub. Our spot between Oval, Vauxhall and Kennington stations makes us easy to find, whether you're heading to the cricket or just looking for a good meal and a pint. We've got two distinct outdoor spaces that really come alive when the weather's nice. Our front terrace lets you watch the neighborhood go by, while the back garden transforms into something special - fairy lights strung overhead, plenty of comfortable seating tucked into different corners, and our Burger Shack firing up those messy, delicious burgers that need extra napkins. The back doors open wide in summer, creating this brilliant flow between inside and out. Our kitchen works with what's fresh and seasonal, changing the menu regularly to keep things interesting. Behind the bar, we pour everything from traditional cask ales to craft beers, mix proper cocktails, and keep a solid wine list. Match days see us packed with cricket fans, but we also show rugby, football and tennis for those who prefer their sports with a pint in hand. Upstairs, our Refectory room feels completely different from the main pub. With its own bar and original fireplace, we've hosted everything from birthday parties to work presentations up there. The space works brilliantly for groups who want their own area but still want that pub atmosphere. The mix of upholstered benches, armchairs and regular seating means everyone finds their preferred spot, whether that's a quiet corner for two or a big table for your whole group.
