At FieldWorks Dance, we've transformed 274 Richmond Road into Hackney's creative hub for movement and wellness. Our building houses five distinct spaces that serve everyone from professional dancers to complete beginners, corporate teams seeking unique meeting venues, and artists needing versatile project rooms. Our two main dance studios feature professional Harlequin sprung floors topped with marley surfaces - the same flooring you'll find in West End theatres. We've installed floor-to-ceiling mirrors along the walls and keep portable ballet barres ready for traditional classes or impromptu stretching sessions. The wireless Sonos sound systems mean no fussing with cables during presentations or movement workshops. Natural light pours through the high windows, creating an energising atmosphere that works equally well for morning yoga sessions or afternoon team meetings. The photo studio offers something different - a private space with its own dressing room and kitchenette, perfect for creative projects or intimate gatherings. Meanwhile, our project space features raw concrete floors and clean white walls that adapt to whatever you need: art installations, pop-up events, or unconventional meeting formats. We run daily classes in ballet, contemporary, hip-hop, yoga, and pilates, with our 'Tiny Dancer' programme introducing children aged 2-9 to movement fundamentals. These same studios transform throughout the day to host rehearsals, workshops, auditions, performances, video shoots, and private lessons. Finding us is straightforward - we're right next to London Fields park, with London Fields station just minutes away. Hackney Central and Hackney Downs stations provide additional transport links. Free Wi-Fi throughout the building keeps everyone connected, whether they're warming up for class or wrapping up a creative meeting. We offer hourly, half-day, and full-day rental options to match your schedule and budget.
