Our converted Victorian zip and suspender factory at First Option Studio spans 2,000 square feet across a private courtyard on Kingsland Road. The original Scots pine trusses stretch overhead in the main 1,000 sq ft studio, where we've kept the industrial bones of the building intact while adding everything modern productions need. The split-level main space gets flooded with natural light through the original Crittall windows - though we've installed blackout blinds for when you need complete control over lighting conditions. The sanded wooden floors have witnessed countless photoshoots, and the high-pitched roofs create that barn-like atmosphere our wedding couples particularly love. A spiral staircase leads up to our 204 sq ft mezzanine, which production teams often use as their office space or for storing equipment between takes. What really sets us apart is our kitchen setup. The main 500 sq ft kitchen features marble and wooden worktops with a mobile island that has a built-in hob - we can wheel it anywhere you need it. The glass lighting balcony above provides photographers with unique angles for food shoots. Behind this, our 230 sq ft prep kitchen handles all the practical catering work, keeping the main kitchen pristine for filming. We've wired the entire space with 3-phase power for heavy-duty equipment and installed high-speed fibre optic internet throughout. There's on-site parking in our courtyard, which saves production crews from hunting for spaces in Shoreditch. We can accommodate 100 people standing or seat 85 for dinner-style events. Whether you're shooting a TV commercial, hosting a corporate workshop, or planning an intimate wedding celebration, our space adapts to your needs. We're a short walk from both Hoxton and Old Street stations, making it easy for your team or guests to reach us from Central London.
