Four acres of striped lawns stretch out before our red-brick Georgian house, where horses graze in the paddocks beyond and the Epsom Downs rise gently in the distance. We've been hosting celebrations at Green Gate since the 17th century, and these days our grounds welcome up to 200 guests for marquee parties and outdoor gatherings. Our head groundskeeper maintains those perfect lawn stripes you'll see in the photos - they make quite the impression when your marquee goes up. The main lawn provides plenty of space for larger structures, while our two walled gravel courtyards work brilliantly for drinks receptions. We've found guests love mingling here with a glass of champagne before moving to the marquee for dinner. The Georgian house itself dates from the mid-1700s and serves as an elegant backdrop for photographs. We can accommodate parking for 15-20 cars on site, though many guests prefer the train - Epsom station is just 20 minutes away with direct services to Waterloo, Victoria and London Bridge. We work with excellent marquee companies who know our grounds well, plus caterers and florists who understand how to make the most of an outdoor setting. Whether you're planning a wedding reception, birthday party, corporate summer party or brand launch, we help coordinate the suppliers to bring your vision together. The Surrey countryside location means we're inside the M25 but feel wonderfully removed from the city. Those views across to the racecourse never get old - especially at sunset when the light catches the paddock fences.
