Our family has been serving Indian cuisine in Bristol for over 30 years, and when we opened Haveli The Yard on Upper Maudlin Street in 2021, we wanted to create something special. Step inside and you'll notice the geometric light displays casting patterns across the walls, while our upside-down gardens hang from the ceiling—it's become quite the conversation starter at parties. We've designed the space to work beautifully for celebrations of all kinds. The restaurant seats 62 comfortably for sit-down dinners, but we can accommodate up to 100 guests for standing receptions. Many couples have celebrated their weddings here, and we've hosted everything from milestone birthdays to corporate gatherings. Being directly across from the Bristol Royal Infirmary makes us easy to find, which our guests always appreciate. Our chefs draw from family recipes passed down through generations, preparing both the Indian classics everyone loves and regional dishes you might not have tried before. When you book an event with us, we work together to create bespoke feasting menus that match your vision. The fully licensed bar means we can craft cocktails alongside traditional lassis and masala chai. The practical details matter too—we have Wi-Fi throughout, air conditioning that keeps everyone comfortable even during packed summer parties, and a PA system for speeches or background music. Our team handles all the in-house catering, so you won't need to coordinate with multiple vendors.
