Our south-facing veranda at Hendon Golf Club catches the afternoon sun perfectly, creating a warm glow across the function room where up to 140 guests can celebrate together. We've been hosting parties and celebrations here since 1903, and the view across our 6,227-yard golf course never fails to impress visitors—it's genuinely one of the best panoramas you'll find in North London. The main function room opens directly onto that veranda, giving your guests the freedom to move between indoor and outdoor spaces throughout your event. We've hosted everything from lively bar mitzvahs to elegant wedding receptions, and the natural light flooding through the windows creates a different atmosphere as the day progresses. For smaller gatherings, we have more intimate rooms available that still capture those course views. Our clubhouse sits just 12 miles from Charing Cross in London's Green Belt, but you'd never guess the city was so close when you're here. The tree-lined fairways, originally designed by J.H. Taylor and Harry Vardon, then reimagined by Harry Colt, provide a peaceful backdrop that photographs beautifully. We've got a large free car park right outside, and local transport links make it easy for guests traveling from different areas. The lounge area works brilliantly for pre-dinner drinks, and we provide free high-speed Wi-Fi throughout the building. If you need audio/visual equipment for speeches or presentations, we've got that covered too. Our kitchen serves everything from canapés to full dinner service, and we work closely with you to create the right menu for your celebration. The pro shop and golf facilities remain open during events, adding to the authentic club atmosphere that makes parties here feel special rather than formulaic.
