Our two-floor restaurant at 77 Wigmore Street brings Geoffrey Bawa's Tropical Modernist vision to life through carefully designed spaces that work brilliantly for parties and events. We've created distinct atmospheres across our floors - the ground level opens up with clean, monochromatic tones and natural light, while downstairs transforms into something more intimate with rich, darker palettes. The lower ground floor has become particularly popular for private parties, accommodating up to 65 guests. We've built four semi-private dining vaults down here, each seating 8-12 people - they're tucked away just enough to give your group privacy while still feeling connected to the energy of the restaurant. For larger celebrations, we can open up the entire venue for exclusive hire, welcoming up to 90 guests across both floors. Our kitchen serves the Sri Lankan dishes that have made Hoppers a London favourite - Mutton Rolls, Bone Marrow Varuval, and our signature Hot Butter Squid feature heavily at parties. We've noticed vegetarian guests particularly enjoy our Plantain & Moju Cutlets and Devilled Paneer. The hoppers and dosas themselves always create talking points, especially when guests haven't tried them before. Behind the bar, we mix cocktails using ingredients sourced directly from Sri Lankan spice gardens - cardamom, cinnamon, and curry leaves find their way into drinks that complement the food perfectly. Our group table seats 16 comfortably, making it ideal for birthday dinners or team celebrations. When weather permits, our outdoor terrace opens up additional party space. The combination of our flexible layout, Sri Lankan menu, and different dining areas means we can adapt to whatever kind of celebration you're planning - from cocktail receptions flowing between floors to seated dinners in the vaults.
