Fire crackles from our open grills as guests settle into counter seats at Hovarda, watching our chefs work their magic with the day's catch from British waters. Here on Rupert Street in Soho, we've created two distinct spaces across our floors - the ground-level restaurant where the kitchen takes center stage, and our first-floor cocktail bar where bartenders craft Mediterranean-inspired drinks while DJs set the mood. Our menu changes daily based on what arrives fresh from the Aegean and British Isles. We might be wrapping barrel-aged feta in crispy kataifi pastry and drizzling it with truffle honey, or preparing delicate sea bass tartare with egglemon, fig, and kohlrabi. The open kitchen means your guests can watch every step of preparation, from seafood hitting the flames to plates being garnished for service. When you book with us for parties and celebrations, we can accommodate 80 seated guests or up to 130 standing across our spaces. The ground floor works brilliantly for seated dinners where groups want to experience the theater of our open kitchen, while the first-floor bar transforms into a proper party space once our DJs start playing. We also have a semi-private lounge tucked away for groups who want their own corner while still feeling part of the energy. The design throughout - created by Lázaro Rosa-Violán - mixes warm wood, leather banquettes, and statement lighting that creates the right atmosphere whether you're hosting team dinners, birthday celebrations, or corporate gatherings. Our bartenders know their way around both classic cocktails and our house creations that pull flavors from across the Mediterranean, while the wine list focuses on interesting bottles from Greece, Turkey, and beyond.
