Working at Ikon Gallery means I get to watch this beautiful neo-gothic building transform almost daily. One evening it's all sharp suits and PowerPoints for a corporate AGM, the next it's dressed to the nines for a wedding reception with fairy lights strung between the columns. We can handle up to 500 people, which sounds massive, but the space breaks down cleverly into more intimate areas when needed. Birmingham New Street is practically next door, and Brindleyplace itself is packed with good restaurants and hotels—handy for out-of-town guests. The building itself becomes part of your event. Those high ceilings and period features create atmosphere before you've even started decorating. We keep the practical side sorted with proper AV kit, reliable WiFi, and climate control that actually works. You can use our caterers, bring your own, or mix and match. Same goes for entertainment and bar service—your event, your rules. What really works here is the contrast—contemporary art in a heritage building, corporate efficiency with creative flair.
