Since 1996, Indigo Yard has been the West End's go-to spot for everything from impromptu birthday parties to carefully planned celebrations, all happening within our distinctive stone walls on Charlotte Lane. The space itself tells our story - exposed brick meets contemporary lighting across two levels, with our mezzanine floor offering a bird's eye view of the action below. During summer, the retractable roof opens to reveal Edinburgh's sky, transforming our courtyard into an outdoor party venue. In winter, we keep things cozy with heaters and blankets, perfect for those December office parties. Our kitchen draws inspiration from around the world, which means your party guests might be sampling Mexican street tacos one minute and French-style moules marinières the next. We've found this variety works brilliantly for group bookings - there's always something for everyone, whether they're vegetarian, gluten-free, or simply particular about their food. Our bar team takes the same global approach, mixing classic cocktails alongside our own creations using Scottish spirits. We're open from 10am until late every day, which gives plenty of flexibility for party planning. Morning cocktail masterclasses, long lunch celebrations, evening receptions - we've hosted them all. Our position just a short walk from Princes Street means guests can easily find us, whether they're coming from the office or making a night of it in the city center.
