Wilson and Carolina have been bringing the heart of Latin America to Brixton Village Market for 14 years, and we love sharing our family's story through every dish and every gathering. Our restaurant sits right in the thick of the market's energy, just a quick walk from Brixton tube station, where the sounds of salsa often spill out onto the cobblestones. We've created two distinct spaces for parties here at Jalisco - Brixton. Downstairs, floor-to-ceiling windows frame the market life outside while grey walls and wooden floors create a contemporary feel that works brilliantly for private dinners. The natural light streaming in during daytime celebrations is something our guests always comment on. Head up our red staircase (yes, it's as striking as it sounds), and you'll find yourself in our upstairs room where plants cascade from shelves and red seating adds punch to the classic wooden tables. This space has its own personality - more relaxed, more playful. Our outdoor patio puts you right in the middle of Brixton Village's buzz. When the weather cooperates, there's nothing quite like celebrating out here with the market atmosphere as your backdrop. We handle all the catering ourselves, using the same treasured Venezuelan and Central American recipes we serve daily - our slow-cooked carne mechada is usually the first thing to disappear at parties. Our mixologist keeps the private bar flowing with Latin-inspired cocktails that match the mood of your celebration. Beyond birthday parties and corporate gatherings, we host regular salsa classes and Latin dance nights that transform the space.
