Our Georgian country house at Mercure Gloucester Bowden Hall Hotel sits on 12 acres of Cotswolds parkland, where morning mist often rolls across the lake and deer occasionally wander through the grounds. We've recently completed a refurbishment that brings together local artwork with bespoke crystal chandeliers throughout our meeting spaces, creating an atmosphere that's both professional and distinctly Gloucestershire. We maintain six meeting rooms here, each equipped with high-speed WiFi and audio-visual equipment included in your booking. Our smallest boardroom works perfectly for groups of 10, while the Lakeside Suite opens up to accommodate 180 delegates theatre-style or 200 for larger conferences. The natural light flooding through the windows means you won't feel trapped in a windowless box, and delegates often comment on the countryside views during breaks. Between sessions, we serve refreshments in our Brasserie, where panoramic windows frame the Cotswolds landscape. Our kitchen team sources ingredients locally where possible, preparing everything from working lunches to formal dinner events. For something different, we can arrange meetings in our Lakeside Pods - glass structures in the private gardens that seat smaller groups. Getting here is straightforward - we're 3 miles from Gloucester railway station and easily accessible from the M5. We have parking for 150 cars on-site, so your delegates won't circle looking for spaces. Our 72 bedrooms mean multi-day conferences run smoothly, with participants staying on-site. The 24-hour fitness center helps early risers start their day, while our bar provides a relaxed space for evening networking. We're licensed for civil ceremonies too, so the same spaces that host your board meetings can transform for company celebrations or awards dinners.
