Our Main Hall transforms from a bustling college sports facility into whatever you need it to be. At Oaklands College Sports Facilities, we've hosted everything from corporate conferences to wedding receptions across our Welwyn Garden City and St Albans campuses. The Welwyn Garden City Main Hall fits 250 guests standing or 150 seated, while our St Albans Sports Hall offers similar space with the same professional setup. Both halls come equipped with stages, event curtains, and full audio-visual equipment already in place. We know setting up events can be stressful, so we've made sure the basics are covered. For meetings and dining events, The Stables Restaurant at our St Albans campus provides an award-winning setting with full catering services and a stocked bar - perfect when you want something more intimate than our main halls. Beyond our indoor spaces, we open up our grounds for larger gatherings. Our outdoor land accommodates over 1,000 attendees, and we've seen it work brilliantly for summer festivals, outdoor weddings, and corporate family days with marquees spread across the lawns. We also maintain a dance studio with mirrored walls and proper sprung flooring, plus a fitness gym with modern equipment - both available for specialized bookings or as breakout spaces during larger events. Every venue includes free parking, which our regular clients tell us makes a real difference when planning events. As a college, we understand budgets matter. We offer discounted rates for block bookings and registered charities. Our team works across all three Hertfordshire campuses, so whether you need the Main Hall for a product launch or The Stables for a celebration dinner, we can help match you with the right space for your specific needs.
