Our cellars beneath Bristol's old wine merchants have been home to Racks Bar & Kitchen since 1982, and we've transformed these historic vaults into distinctive meeting spaces that bring character to every gathering. The exposed brickwork and antique tin walls that line our rooms create an atmosphere you won't find in conventional conference venues, while our vintage lighting provides the perfect ambiance for productive discussions. We've equipped both the Playroom and Engine Room with HDMI connections and high-speed Wi-Fi, making it simple for remote participants to join your meetings seamlessly. The soft ambient lighting throughout these private spaces helps maintain focus while encouraging creative thinking - something our regular clients particularly appreciate when they're brainstorming or presenting to important stakeholders. Our kitchen team prepares everything fresh using locally sourced ingredients, and we can arrange anything from working lunches to full dining experiences for your group. We're particularly proud of our ability to accommodate various dietary requirements and allergens, ensuring everyone around the table is well looked after. Many groups book their Sunday meetings specifically to enjoy our celebrated roast afterwards. The flexibility of our spaces means we can host everything from board meetings for eight to company presentations for up to 200 delegates. During warmer months, breaks can be taken on our spacious terrace under the Pergola, giving attendees a chance to continue conversations in the fresh air. We welcome well-behaved dogs too, understanding that some of our clients prefer to bring their four-legged colleagues along. Each room offers modern AV facilities while maintaining the unique character that makes meetings here more memorable than those held in glass-walled offices.
