Our studio at 13c Amwell Street sits just around the corner from Sadler's Wells Theatre and the energy of Exmouth Market. We've been the UK's largest flamenco institution since 1990, and our space reflects decades of rhythmic footwork and passionate performances. Two spacious dance studios make up our venue, each fitted with sprung flooring that's kind to dancers' joints and floor-to-ceiling mirrors that catch every movement. We've installed dedicated sound systems in both rooms - essential for the live musicians who regularly accompany our classes. When you need more space, we can open the dividing wall to create one impressive 6m x 21m area perfect for larger celebrations or performances. Our students range from 4-year-olds in Saturday classes to dancers over 60, and this diversity shapes how we've arranged the space. The small kitchen keeps everyone fueled during intensive workshops or evening events. We host over 15 weekly classes here, plus intensive courses that draw dancers from across London and beyond. The Children's Saturday School uses these rooms to prepare young dancers for Spanish Dance Society exams, with several earning prestigious awards over the years. We regularly transform the space for community performances - the same stages where students practice become venues for showcasing their progress to family and friends. Beyond regular classes, we open our doors for private parties, dance rehearsals, filming, and castings. The privacy of our location, combined with professional dance facilities, makes it particularly suitable for creative events. We also support Rhythmic Health, a charity using flamenco dance for mental health intervention, so the space serves both artistic and therapeutic purposes.
