Our converted riverside home in Wooburn Green opens its doors for parties that feel refreshingly different from typical venue hire. Inside, we've kept the original character of a family home while creating flexible spaces that work beautifully for birthday parties, anniversary celebrations, and social gatherings. The main reception areas flow together naturally, giving your guests room to mingle while maintaining that intimate house party atmosphere. Our kitchen comes fully equipped for caterers, though we're happy to arrange catering that suits your party style and guest numbers. The real magic happens when parties spill out into our tree-lined garden. The flat lawn stretches down to the river, where our private jetty accommodates boat charters up to 45 feet - imagine arriving at your party by boat, or treating guests to sunset river trips. We've hosted everything from garden parties with champagne on the lawn to evening celebrations with fairy lights strung through the trees. Our indoor studio provides additional party space, particularly useful for dancing or entertainment. During summer months, this same space opens to the outdoor practice area, creating an indoor-outdoor flow that party guests love. The riverside setting means natural cooling breezes on warm evenings and spectacular views as the sun sets over the Thames. While we also host yoga classes and wellness retreats here, our party bookings benefit from the same peaceful location - close enough to Cookham for easy access, yet tucked away enough that music and laughter won't disturb neighbors.
