Our wooden tables fill with neighbors and friends each evening at Salut! Restaurant Islington, where we've created something between a neighborhood bistro and a dinner party at a friend's house. You'll find us preparing modern-European dishes right in front of you—our open kitchen isn't hidden away, it's part of the conversation. The huge glass windows that line our dining room transform the space throughout the day. Morning light streams across the vintage furnishings we've collected over the years, while our copper lights take over as evening falls, casting that perfect dinner glow across the solid wood tabletops. We light candles on each table once the sun sets, turning the whole room into something more intimate and enveloping. We source our ingredients with care—local produce when we can get it, sustainably caught fish, and organic vegetables that change with the seasons. Our menu reflects what's fresh right now, with both à la carte options and lighter lunch dishes. The wine list features smaller producers and interesting bottles we've discovered ourselves. For celebrations and gatherings, we can arrange private dining in different ways. The entire restaurant seats up to 36 guests when you want exclusive use of the space. For smaller groups, we accommodate up to 15 people while keeping the restaurant open to other diners. Whether you're planning a birthday dinner, anniversary celebration, or just want to bring people together over good food, we work with you to create the right atmosphere. The warmth here comes from more than just our dimmed lights and candles—it's in how we cook, how we serve, and how our guests settle in for long conversations over dinner.
