Showcasing Manchester’s rich legacy of world-changing innovations and scientific discoveries, this distinctive and truly remarkable setting transforms formal galas, conferences and private soirées into once-in-a-lifetime events.
Highlighting stories that we’re uniquely placed to tell. We stand on the site of the oldest surviving passenger railway station, in the heart of the world’s first industrial city, today alive with innovative discoveries in science and technology.
Our fascinating Galleries are available to hire for evening events, taking place among some of the world’s oldest exhibits from the field of science and engineering, including a replica of the world’s first stored-program computer.
Our dedicated Conference Centre, equipped with the highest tech, has been newly refurbished and is now open for event bookings! With rooms inspired by the museum’s history, storytelling flows from the Museum through these spaces. Up to 200 theatre style and 150 for cabaret, we have a space for all your conference needs.
Our venue hire team will take care of every detail, from choosing your unique space to recommending catering and entertainment.
