Our converted foundry building at Simulacra Studio on Barrington Road brings together two distinct creative spaces that photographers and filmmakers keep coming back to. We've kept the industrial character of Studio One - what everyone calls 'The Warehouse' - with its original brick walls and those massive factory doors that open wide enough to drive a car straight onto set. The centerpiece here is our 6m x 6m infinity cove, painted fresh white and lit by natural light streaming through the glass apex roof above. Production teams love how the daylight changes throughout the day, though we've installed full blackout options when you need complete control. The space easily handles fashion shoots, music videos, and we've even hosted some memorable wrap parties once the cameras stop rolling. Next door, Studio Two works brilliantly for smaller gatherings and intimate productions. We call it 'The Daylight Studio' because of the incredible natural light that floods in - perfect for portrait sessions or product launches where you want that authentic feel. The movable high-glide lighting system means you can adjust everything without climbing ladders. Both studios share our client lounge where crews tend to gather between takes. We've fitted proper kitchens so you can bring in your own catering, plus makeup stations with good mirrors and that all-important hairdressing wash unit. The shower's there too - essential after a long day under hot lights. Our workshop downstairs handles set construction and prop making, and we keep a good stock of equipment for rental. Being in Brixton means you're five minutes from Sainsbury's for last-minute supplies, and there's free parking right across the street all day. Whether you're shooting a campaign, hosting a product launch, or throwing a creative party, we've got the infrastructure sorted.
