The Corn Exchange has been a Manchester landmark since 1837, and we've brought cricket right into the heart of it at Sixes Social Cricket. Our four batting nets use cutting-edge simulator technology that tracks your shots in real-time - whether you're facing your first ball or you've been playing for years, the system adjusts to match your skill level. We built this space for parties and celebrations that need something different. Each batting net becomes its own private arena where groups compete in everything from quick-fire challenges to full match simulations. Between innings, people gravitate to our games room where we've installed a professional pool table, classic arcade machines, and a karaoke setup that gets surprisingly competitive after a few drinks. Our bar team serves up cocktails named after cricket legends, plus we pour local Manchester ales and craft beers. The food menu plays with cricket themes too - think "sticky wicket" wings and "caught behind" calamari platters designed for sharing while you watch the action on our Sky Sports screens. For birthday parties, we typically see groups booking two nets for 90 minutes, which gives everyone plenty of time at the crease. Stag and hen parties often combine cricket with karaoke sessions, while corporate teams use the simulators for tournament-style competitions. We handle groups from 10 to 120 people across our different spaces. During weekday afternoons and Sunday mornings, we offer half-price net bookings - perfect timing for team celebrations or family gatherings when the Corn Exchange is quieter.
